Longpu Glacier of Mt.
Everest:
Longpu Glacier is on the north
side of Mt. Everest. Its length is 22.2 km and covers an area of 86.9 kn2. The
terminus of glacier is at 5,154 m elevation. The dream of any geologist, to
reach the highest peak in the world - Mt. Everest (8,850 m) and its magnificent
Longpu Glacier with superb ice pinnacle forest.
