Insukati Glacier 

Insukati Glacier is the largest glacier in west China. It originates from the north side of the major ridge of Karakorum Range.  Its snow line is at 4,800 - 5,250 m.  The average width of its middle & lower tongues is 1.5 -2.4 km. The vertical drop of glaciations is 3,295m. 

Insukati Glacier has a full growth of superglacial moraine and crevasses.  The 30 - 35 km superglacial moraine extends from its terminus (4,000m) upward to > 5,200m elevation.
