Perennial, 20-30cm tall. Blue purple or near white flowers, diameter 5cm. The outside  petals are veined and fimbriate.

Flowering: May to June.

Growing in valley floodplain, forestedge or grassy slopes of Tibet Linzhi, Milin areas only.
