Evergreen grand shrub to little tree, 2 - 5m high, 10m the highest. Terminal, 5 - 9  flowers or more, corolla length >10cm, white color, reddish, fragrant.

Flowering:   April to May.

Warm, light and humid tendency  Growing in forest and thicket.
Endemic to the Himalayas. Distributed in Tibet Yalung Tsangpu River Great Canyon, Bhutan and India.
