Perennial. Single flower, tubular corolla, light blue color, 3 - 5cm long, tube diameter about 1cm.

Flowering:  August.

Heliophilous, tolerant to cool and poor soil. Growing on alpine grassy and shruby slope.
Endemic to the Himalayas. Distributed in south, central and  southeast Tibet, Nepal and Sikkim.
